President of Serbia to participate in Victory Parade in Moscow
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic will visit Russia on June 23–24, where he will attend the Victory Parade. He is also expected to meet with the Russian President Vladimir Putin, the Serbian leader’s administration stated.
“The President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic will be in Moscow on June 23–24, 2020 on a two-day visit, during which he will meet with the Russian President Vladimir Putin and attend the military parade dedicated to the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Victory over fascism in the Great Patriotic War,” Vucic’s administration claimed.
Serbian President and Milorad Dodik, Serb member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, have confirmed their attendance of the Victory Parade in Moscow. The Serbian Defense Ministry has sent 75 Guardsmen to parade along the Red Square. Famous Serbian film director Emir Kusturica will also attend the Victory Parade in Moscow on June 24 at the official invitation of the Minister of Defense Sergey Shoygu.
