The first fireworks to commemorate the Victory anniversary shot in Kamchatka
Kamchatka was the first Russian region to join All-Russian event “Rays of Victory.”
Shots of festive fireworks commemorating the 75‑th anniversary of the Victory roared in one of the eastmost Russian regions – Kamchatka. Press ‑office of Joint Troops and Forces in North‑East of Russia informed TASS about this.
“At 23:00 local time (14:00 Moscow time), military engineers shot over 20 festive fireworks into the air in the center of Petropavlovsk‑Kamchatsky. Weather was fair, so the colors of fireworks could be seen virtually in any point of the city,” the message says.
A few minutes earlier, Kamchatka was the fist Russian region to join All-Russian event “Rays of Victory.” Before the fireworks, the sky above the regional capital was lighted by powerful floodlights of industrial plants. A few hours later, fireworks divisions of Eastern Military district will shoot festive fireworks in Khabarovsk, Belogorsk, Vladivostok, Ussuriysk, Chita, Ulan‑Ude, Yuzhno‑Sakhalinsk to commemorate 75‑th anniversary of Great Patriotic War Victory Parade.
